Operational Manager – Staff Management (Education Institute)
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to handle staff management and internal operations of our institute offering Digital Marketing and AI courses. The role focuses on managing team performance, discipline, coordination, and ensuring smooth workflow across all departments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Staff Supervision & Coordination
Manage daily activities of administrative staff, counselors, trainers, and support teams
Ensure proper duty allocation and workflow management
Act as a central point of coordination between departments
2. Team Performance Management
Monitor staff performance and productivity on a regular basis
Set KPIs and targets for different teams
Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for improvement
3. Attendance & Discipline
Maintain staff attendance, punctuality, and leave records
Ensure adherence to company policies and code of conduct
Handle disciplinary issues and take corrective actions when required
4. Training & Development
Identify training needs and organize staff training sessions
Onboard new employees and ensure smooth induction
Develop SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for staff efficiency
5. Task Allocation & Monitoring
Assign daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to team members
Track progress and ensure timely completion of assigned work
Ensure accountability and ownership among staff
6. Communication Management
Conduct regular team meetings and briefings
Ensure clear communication of management decisions to staff
Maintain a positive and professional work environment
7. Conflict Resolution
Address internal staff conflicts and resolve issues effectively
Maintain team harmony and workplace discipline
8. Reporting
Prepare daily and weekly reports on staff performance and operations
Provide insights and suggestions for improving team productivity
9. Revenue Responsibility
Ensure staff productivity contributes to achieving admission targets and overall revenue growth
Monitor team performance in relation to conversions and business outcomes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline
2-5+ years of experience in operations or team management (education sector preferred)
Strong leadership and people management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple teams
