Job Summary:
The Security Field Officer is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the safety and security of assigned locations, personnel, and assets. This role involves conducting regular patrols, supervising security personnel, responding to incidents, enforcing site rules, and reporting security concerns to management. The officer will also be expected to coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct routine patrols of designated areas to monitor for suspicious activity or safety hazards.
Supervise and support on-site security guards to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies, and take appropriate action.
Prepare detailed reports on incidents, daily activities, and field inspections.
Ensure security systems such as CCTV, alarms, and access control systems are functioning properly.
Perform risk assessments and recommend improvements to enhance site security.
Act as a liaison between the security company and clients, addressing concerns and maintaining high service standards.
Train new security personnel in field operations and safety protocols.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training preferred.
Prior experience in security, military, or law enforcement is an advantage.
Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Physically fit and able to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
