Key Responsibilities:Identify and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors based on price, quality, and delivery timelines.Request and compare quotations to ensure best value for money.Negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers.Prepare and issue purchase orders and follow up for timely delivery.Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory.Coordinate with internal departments (such as production, accounts, and stores) to ensure smooth material flow.Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or invoicing.Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors.Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and statutory regulations.Prepare reports on procurement activities, budgets, and cost savings.
