Role Summary
The Labour Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating the workforce at site locations. The role ensures timely deployment of workers, smooth onboarding of new candidates, proper accommodation arrangements, and accurate maintenance of workforce records.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure all assigned workers are prepared and present for duty on time as per shift schedules.
Coordinate daily attendance, deployment, and workforce allocation at site.
Interview, screen, and facilitate joining of new candidates as per manpower requirements.
Manage onboarding formalities, including documentation and basic induction.
Arrange and oversee accommodation and lodging for deployed candidates, ensuring discipline and safety.
Prepare, maintain, and update master records of all candidates, including attendance, joining, and allocation details.
Act as a single point of contact between workers, site management, and HR.
Address worker grievances, discipline issues, and basic welfare concerns at site.
Support audits and inspections by providing accurate manpower data and reports.
Skills & Competencies
Strong people management and coordination skills
Basic interviewing and documentation knowledge
Ability to handle large groups of workers efficiently
Good communication skills (local language mandatory; Hindi/English preferred)
Problem-solving and conflict-handling abilities
Basic computer skills (Excel/attendance registers preferred)
