Position: Human Resources Executive / Manager
Department: HR & Administration
Location: Dharwad, Karnataka
Reporting To: Managing Director
Role Summary:
The Human Resources Executive / Manager will be responsible for managing all HR operations, including recruitment, employee engagement, performance evaluation, payroll, compliance, and administrative functions. The role ensures a positive, disciplined, and growth-oriented work environment aligned with company policies and values.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Plan, source, and recruit candidates for technical, operational, and administrative roles.
Conduct interviews in coordination with department heads.
Manage onboarding, induction, and documentation of new employees.
Maintain an updated employee database and organizational chart.
2. Attendance, Payroll & Compliance
Monitor daily attendance, leaves, and shift schedules.
Process monthly salary and maintain records of deductions (ESI, PF, PT, etc.).
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as labour laws, factory act, and company policies.
Coordinate with accounts for timely payroll disbursement.
3. Employee Relations & Communication
Promote a healthy, professional, and motivating work environment.
Handle grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions with fairness and confidentiality.
Conduct regular employee meetings, feedback sessions, and performance reviews.
Maintain effective communication between management and staff.
4. Training & Development
Identify skill gaps and plan training programs in coordination with department heads.
Organize in-house and external training sessions for professional growth.
Maintain training attendance and performance improvement records.
5. HR Policy & Administration
Implement and periodically update HR policies, SOPs, and company code of conduct.
Oversee administrative functions including housekeeping, canteen, uniforms, and facility maintenance.
Maintain HR reports, MIS, and monthly performance dashboards.
Support in safety and compliance audits.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Graduate or Postgraduate in HR / Business Administration (MBA HR preferred).
3–7 years of experience in manufacturing or agro-industrial setup (for Manager level).
Good knowledge of labour laws, HRMS systems, and payroll software.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and fluency in English, Hindi, and Kannada preferred.
