Job Summary:
An HR Trainee supports the Human Resources department by assisting with recruitment (screening resumes, scheduling interviews), onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, and handling administrative tasks. This entry-level role focuses on learning HR functions, compliance, and employee engagement, typically requiring a Bachelor’s degree in HR or Business.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Support: Posting job openings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, and coordinating interview schedules.
Onboarding & Induction: Assisting with new hire paperwork, orientation, and setting up employee records.
Administrative Duties: Maintaining HR databases (HRIS), filing documents, and updating staff records.
Employee Relations: Supporting employee engagement activities, answering basic HR queries, and assisting with employee evaluations.
HR Operations: Learning payroll processes, benefits administration, and assisting with policy implementation.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Discretion: Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information.
Experience:
1–3 years preferred (Freshers with strong writing skills may also apply).
