About the Company: We are a privately owned infrastructure service provider specializing in the construction and execution of telecom and data center projects for prestigious clients such as Airtel. Our work includes the end-to-end deployment of internet towers, involving civil, electrical, and fabrication work across sites in Mumbai and Pune.
Role Overview: As the sole HR professional in the organization, you will be responsible for managing the entire HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll coordination, employee relations, and contractor workforce administration. The ideal candidate is either experienced in the telecom/data center sector or a quick learner from a related infrastructure field.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
-End-to-end recruitment for site supervisors, technical staff, and administrative roles
-Maintain a pipeline of skilled contract labor (welders, riggers, electricians, etc.)
-Liaise with manpower vendors for urgent site staffing requirements
-Conduct interviews and coordinate with site managers for technical evaluations
2. Onboarding & Documentation
-Complete joining formalities for new hires and ensure proper documentation
-Verify contractor background checks and ID documentation
-Maintain digital and physical personnel files
3. Attendance, Payroll & Compliance
-Coordinate with accounts for monthly payroll and contractor payouts
-Maintain attendance records (supervisors and labor) across sites
-Ensure PF/ESIC compliance and liaise with consultants for statutory filings Monitor labor law updates and apply as needed
4. HR Policies, Training & Employee
-Welfare Draft and update basic HR policies as per industry norms
-Organize safety inductions and soft skill training for field staff
-Address grievances and escalate issues to management when needed Monitor and improve employee morale and retention
5. Site HR Support & Vendor
-Coordination Travel occasionally to sites in Mumbai/Pune for audits and team engagement
-Coordinate with manpower vendors, site managers, and third-party agencies
