As a Field Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be the boots-on-the-ground face of our hiring efforts for dark store operations. Your core mission is to rapidly and continuously source, screen, and onboard Pickers, Packers, and Putters who keep our quick commerce fulfillment running at full speed. You will work directly in local communities — near dark stores, transit hubs, and neighborhoods — to build a steady pipeline of frontline warehouse talent.
Active field sourcing
Conduct walk-in drives, poster campaigns, and referral pushes in residential clusters, markets, and transit hubs within dark store catchment areas. Proactively approach and engage potential candidates on-ground.
Screening & selection
Conduct rapid face-to-face or telephonic screening to assess physical fitness, availability, shift flexibility, and basic literacy. Ensure candidates meet role-specific criteria for picking, packing, or putaway tasks.
Onboarding & documentation
Coordinate joining formalities including document collection (Aadhaar, PAN, bank details), background verification initiation, and orientation scheduling. Ensure a seamless day-one experience at the dark store.
Headcount planning & reporting
Track daily hiring targets, attrition gaps, and shift coverage needs. Report hiring numbers, pipeline status, and drop-off data to the operations and HR team in real time.
Retention support
Conduct early-tenure check-ins with new hires during their first 30 days. Identify and flag issues contributing to early attrition and propose corrective actions in coordination with the store manager.
