Job Description

responsibilities

  • Understand staffing needs: Collaborate with hiring managers to grasp job requirements and team dynamics.

  • Create and post job descriptions: Write clear and accurate job descriptions and post them on various platforms, including job boards and social media.

  • Source candidates: Actively search for potential candidates using methods like LinkedIn, job boards, professional networks, and employee referrals.

  • Screen applicants: Review resumes and conduct initial phone or video interviews to screen candidates and identify those who are a good fit.

  • Coordinate interviews: Schedule and manage the logistics of interviews between shortlisted candidates and the hiring team.

  • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS): Maintain candidate records and data within the HR system.

  • Handle offers and negotiations: Communicate job offers to candidates and manage the negotiation process for salary and benefits.

  • Ensure a positive candidate experience: Ensure the hiring process is efficient, inclusive, and provides a positive experience for all applicants. 

Required skills and qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

  • Proficiency with productivity software, databases, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).

  • Familiarity with full-cycle recruiting.

  • Ability to work under pressure and stay organized.

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources management or a related field is often preferred.
