The Payroll Executive will be responsible for end-to-end payroll processing with a strong focus on statutory compliance related to ESIC, EPF, and other labor laws. The role ensures accurate salary disbursement, statutory deductions, timely filings, and coordination with government authorities.
Process monthly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and timely salary disbursement
Calculate wages, overtime, incentives, deductions, and arrears
Maintain payroll records, employee master data, and attendance inputs
Handle ESIC and EPF registration, enrollment, and exit formalities
Prepare and file monthly ECR, ESIC returns, and challans within statutory timelines
Manage PF transfers, withdrawals (Form 19, 10C), and ESIC claims
Coordinate inspections, audits, and queries from EPFO and ESIC authorities
Ensure compliance with applicable labor laws including:
EPF & MP Act
ESIC Act
Payment of Wages Act
Minimum Wages Act
Bonus & Gratuity (where applicable)
Maintain statutory registers and records
Prepare payroll MIS, statutory reports, and reconciliation statements
Coordinate with HR, Finance, vendors, and auditors
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual audits
Strong working knowledge of EPF, ESIC, and Indian labor laws
Hands-on experience with payroll software (SAP, GreytHR, Tally, etc.)
Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables)
High attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and coordination skills
