We are looking for a HR Officer to join our team at Wahren India Private Limited to manage the full-cycle recruitment process for the organization. The tasks include identifying potential candidates, interviewing, and evaluating them. You will be responsible for updating job ads and conducting background checks of candidates. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹25000 - ₹35000 and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, verify, and process monthly payroll for all employees within defined timelines.
Maintain and update employee payroll records including new hires, terminations, promotions, and salary changes.
Ensure accurate calculation of earnings, deductions, overtime, leaves, and incentives.
Generate payroll reports and share with HR/Finance management.
Ensure compliance with statutory payroll laws (PF, ESIC, PT, Income Tax, Gratuity, Bonus etc.).
File monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll regulations and labor law changes.
Maintain employee attendance, leave management data, and records in HRIS/attendance system.
Handle payroll-related documentation including salary slips, Form 16, tax declarations, and bank instructions.
Support HR audits and ensure proper record keeping.
Address payroll-related queries from employees in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate with HR, Finance, and Operations teams for payroll inputs and reconciliations.
Assist in onboarding/offboarding processes related to compensation and benefits.
Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Support implementation of payroll software or system upgrades.
Bachelor’s degree in HR, Commerce, Business Administration, or related field.
1–4 years of experience in payroll processing or HR operations (depending on seniority).
Strong knowledge of payroll systems, HRIS tools, and MS Excel.
Understanding of statutory compliance and labor laws.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is Graduate and 1 - 3 years of experience. Knowledge of resume databases and strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Additional skills like sourcing techniques and sound judgment are a must. Candidates must be open to working 6 days working
