The HR Specialist is responsible for supporting the full scope of Human Resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and ensuring compliance with labor laws. This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers on HR policies and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesThe main duties are generally grouped into several core HR functions:Recruitment and Onboarding 🤝Coordinate with hiring managers to determine staffing needs.Develop and update job descriptions and post job openings.Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and administer pre-employment assessments.Manage the offer, negotiation, and hiring process.Conduct new hire orientation and ensure all onboarding documentation is completed.Employee Relations and Performance Management 🗣️Act as a confidential point of contact for employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters, facilitating resolution.Provide guidance to managers on performance reviews, coaching, and termination procedures.Conduct and analyze exit interviews to identify areas for improvement in retention.Promote a positive and inclusive work environment and manage employee engagement activities.Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Excellent ability to build rapport, communicate clearly (written and verbal), and manage difficult conversations.Confidentiality & Ethics: Unwavering commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive employee data.Organizational & Attention to Detail: Exceptional record-keeping and organizational skills to manage documentation and deadlines.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and decision-making skills to resolve complex employee and business issues.Certifications (often a plus): PHR (Professional in Human Resources) or SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional).
