Key Responsibilities
Process monthly payroll accurately and on schedule for all employees.
Maintain and update employee payroll records including new joiners, resignations, and changes in salary structure.
Calculate and process deductions such as taxes, PF, ESI, professional tax, loans, and other adjustments.
Ensure compliance with statutory laws and timely submission of statutory payments (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
Generate salary slips, tax reports, and payroll summaries.
Handle employee queries related to salaries, deductions, and tax computation.
Coordinate with HR for attendance, leave data, and incentive details.
Liaise with the Finance department and banks for salary transfers.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports for management.
Support internal and external audits with necessary payroll documentation.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or Human Resources.
2–5 years of experience in payroll processing or a similar role.
Proficient in MS Excel and payroll software (e.g., SAP, ADP, Tally, GreytHR, etc.).
Good understanding of statutory compliance and tax regulations.
Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive data.
