Job Title: HR Assistant

Job Summary
The HR Assistant supports the Human Resources department in daily administrative and operational activities. The role involves maintaining employee records, assisting with recruitment, managing attendance and payroll coordination, and ensuring compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
Assist in posting job vacancies on job portals and other recruitment platforms.
Screen resumes and coordinate interview schedules with candidates and department heads.
Prepare offer letters, appointment letters, and other employment documents.
Support the onboarding process for new employees and maintain joining documentation.
2. Employee Records Management
Maintain and update employee personal files and HR databases.
Ensure proper documentation such as ID proofs, certificates, and joining forms.
Update employee information such as promotions, transfers, and resignations.
3. Attendance & Payroll Coordination
Monitor daily attendance, leave records, and shift schedules.
Coordinate with the accounts/payroll team for salary processing.
Maintain records of salary deductions, advances, incentives, and overtime.
4. Compliance & Documentation
Assist in maintaining statutory compliance records (PF, ESI, Gratuity, etc.).
Prepare HR reports and documentation required for audits or inspections.
Ensure company policies and HR procedures are followed.
5. Employee Support
Address employee queries related to attendance, salary, leave, and HR policies.
Assist in employee engagement activities and training programs.
Support HR Manager in disciplinary procedures and documentation.
6. General Administrative Support
Draft HR-related letters, memos, and internal communications.
Maintain HR registers and files.
Assist with office administration tasks when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Basic knowledge of HR processes and labor laws.
Skills Required
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word).
Organizational and record-keeping skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information.
Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
