Job Summary
AOS Products Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a responsible and proactive HR Executive to support day-to-day HR operations for our manufacturing organisation.
The candidate will be responsible for manpower planning, recruitment, employee attendance, onboarding, payroll coordination, statutory compliance, employee records, shop-floor HR activities, and employee engagement. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a manufacturing/plant environment and have good knowledge of HR processes and labour-related matters.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
Handle end-to-end recruitment for staff, workers, operators, technicians, and other plant positions.
Coordinate with department heads for manpower requirements.
Source candidates through job portals, recruitment agencies, references, walk-ins, and other channels.
Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate technical/management interviews.
Prepare and issue offer letters and appointment letters as per company policy.
Maintain recruitment records and monitor open positions.
2. Employee Joining & Onboarding
Complete joining formalities and documentation for new employees.
Conduct employee induction and orientation.
Explain company policies, rules, working hours, attendance procedures, and basic disciplinary requirements.
Ensure employee documents and records are complete and properly maintained.
Coordinate allocation of ID cards, uniforms, PPE, and other requirements where applicable.
3. Attendance & Leave Management
Maintain daily attendance records for employees and workers.
Monitor late coming, absenteeism, overtime, shifts, weekly offs, and leave.
Coordinate with production and department supervisors regarding manpower attendance.
Maintain accurate leave and attendance records.
Support preparation and verification of monthly payroll inputs.
4. Payroll & HR Operations
Coordinate with the accounts/payroll team for monthly salary processing.
Verify attendance, overtime, deductions, incentives, leave, and other payroll-related inputs.
Maintain employee master data and HR records.
Prepare HR reports such as headcount, absenteeism, turnover, overtime, manpower cost, etc.
Handle employee queries related to salary, attendance, leave, and HR policies.
5. Statutory Compliance & Labour Laws
Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable labour laws and statutory requirements.
Maintain records related to PF, ESIC, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, Minimum Wages, Contract Labour, and other applicable compliances.
Coordinate with consultants and external agencies for statutory compliance and filings.
Maintain statutory registers, records, notices, and employee documentation as required.
Support inspections, audits, and compliance documentation.
6. Employee Relations
Address day-to-day employee grievances and HR-related concerns.
Maintain healthy employee relations across the factory and office.
Coordinate with supervisors and management to resolve employee issues.
Assist in disciplinary matters, warning letters, show-cause notices, and other HR documentation as per company policy.
Promote discipline, punctuality, attendance, and adherence to company rules.
7. Shop-Floor / Plant HR Activities
Regularly interact with workers and supervisors on the shop floor.
Monitor manpower availability and coordinate replacement requirements.
Understand production manpower requirements and support smooth workforce deployment.
Maintain communication between workers, supervisors, and management.
Support initiatives related to workplace discipline, safety, housekeeping, and employee welfare.
8. HR Policies & Documentation
Implement and communicate company HR policies and procedures.
Maintain employee personal files and confidential HR documents.
Prepare HR letters including appointment, confirmation, transfer, promotion, warning, experience, relieving, and other letters.
Ensure proper documentation of employee movements and status changes.
9. Training & Employee Engagement
Coordinate employee training and development programmes.
Maintain training records and attendance.
Assist in organising employee engagement and welfare activities.
Support induction, safety training, and other mandatory training programmes.
10. Exit Formalities
Conduct and document employee exit formalities.
Coordinate resignation acceptance, notice period, full & final settlement, experience/relieving letters, and clearance.
Maintain employee attrition and exit records.
Conduct exit interviews where required.
Required Qualifications
MBA/PGDM in HR, MSW, or Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field.
2–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Good knowledge of HR operations and labour-related processes.
Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, email, and HR software/HRMS.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle confidential employee information professionally.
Good understanding of attendance, payroll, recruitment, and employee relations.
Preferred Skills
Experience in plant/manufacturing HR.
Knowledge of worker recruitment and shop-floor manpower management.
Practical knowledge of labour compliance and statutory requirements.
Ability to handle a diverse workforce, including shop-floor workers.
Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple HR activities.
