Position: HR Officer
Reporting to: Head – HR & Operations

Key Responsibilities
1. End-to-End HR Operations
Manage complete employee life cycle: recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exit formalities.
Coordinate manpower planning for production, QA, warehouse, maintenance, and support functions.
Maintain employee master data, personal files, and digital HR records.
Handle attendance, shift rosters, leave management, and absenteeism tracking.
Support performance appraisal process, probation reviews, and employee feedback.
Manage employee engagement activities, welfare initiatives, and grievance handling.
Act as the first point of contact for employee HR queries.
2. Payroll & Compensation Support
Manage monthly payroll processing.
Verify attendance, overtime, incentives, deductions, and statutory contributions.
Handle Full & Final settlements, gratuity coordination.
Support salary revisions, promotions, and increment documentation.
3. Statutory & Labor Law Compliance
Ensure compliance with:
EPF, ESI
Factory Act
Bonus Act
Payment of Wages Act
Gratuity Act
Contract Labour Act
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory returns.
Coordinate factory inspections, labour department inspections, and statutory authority visits.
Maintain statutory registers, records, and notices.
Handle contract labour documentation, licenses, and compliance tracking.
4. Medical Device Industry & Audit Support
Support ISO 13485, internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
Maintain HR-related SOPs, training records, and competency matrices.
Coordinate GMP, EHS, safety, and compliance trainings.
Ensure documentation aligns with QMS and regulatory expectations.
5. Training & Development
Coordinate induction and onboarding programs for new employees.
Maintain training calendars, attendance, and effectiveness records.
Support skill development programs for shop floor & supervisory staff.
6. General Administration
Handle office administration, housekeeping, security, and canteen coordination.
Manage ID cards, access control, and visitor management.
Coordinate transport, accommodation, and facility vendors (as applicable).
Support asset tracking, stationery, and office supplies management.
7. Reporting & MIS
Prepare HR MIS reports:
Manpower strength
Attrition & absenteeism
Statutory compliance status
Training and engagement metrics
Support HR audits and management reviews.
