Position Summary
The Field Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, and mobilizing candidates
for operational and support roles across Shyamoli Paribahan's locations. The role
involves extensive field recruitment activities, job fairs, local sourcing campaigns,
candidate engagement, and coordination with depot and operational teams to ensure
timely manpower availability.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Sourcing
Conduct field recruitment drives for ground level staffs.
Source candidates through local networks, employment exchanges, training
institutes, transport hubs, and referral programs.
Visit bus depots, workshops, terminals, and nearby areas to identify potential
candidates.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future
vacancies.
Coordinate walk-in interviews and recruitment camps.
Candidate Screening
Conduct preliminary interviews and document verification.
Assess candidate suitability based on job requirements.
Verify experience, licenses, and other mandatory credentials where
applicable.
Schedule shortlisted candidates for final interviews with hiring managers.
Stakeholder Coordination
Coordinate with depot managers and department heads to understand
manpower requirements.
Track vacancy status and provide regular recruitment updates.
Ensure smooth onboarding and joining formalities for selected candidates.
Employer Branding & Outreach
Promote employment opportunities in local communities.
Establish relationships with vocational institutes, driving schools, and
employment agencies.
Participate in job fairs, campus drives, and community recruitment events.
Recruitment Administration
Maintain candidate databases and recruitment records.
Prepare daily and weekly recruitment reports.
Track joining ratios, offer acceptance rates, and recruitment turnaround time.
Ensure compliance with company recruitment policies.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Graduate in any discipline.
1–3 years of experience in field recruitment, bulk hiring, or blue-collar
recruitment.
Strong sourcing and networking abilities.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel extensively for recruitment activities.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and recruitment portals.
Candidate assessment and interviewing skills.
Record-keeping and reporting capabilities.
Preferred Experience
Recruitment experience in transportation, logistics, fleet operations, bus
services, or manpower-intensive industries.
Experience in hiring drivers, technicians, supervisors, and operational staff.
Working Days: 6 days per week
Nature of Job: Field-based with regular travel across recruitment locations and
operational sites.
