Job Summary:
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Recruiter to join our staffing agency’s
telecom hiring team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and onboarding junior-level field staff and tower maintenance personnel for a leading client in the telecom infrastructure and hardware sector. The ideal candidate will have strong sourcing skills, a good understanding of blue/grey-collar hiring, and a sense of urgency to meet aggressive hiring targets.
Key Responsibilities:
End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full-cycle recruitment process including
sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding junior staff and tower maintenance
technicians.
Candidate Sourcing: Use multiple channels (job portals, social media, local networks,
field visits, referrals, etc.) to build a strong pipeline of candidates in target regions.
Client Coordination: Understand manpower requirements from the client’s field
HR/operations team and deliver profiles within agreed timelines.
Screening: Evaluate candidate qualifications, physical fitness (where applicable), work experience, and willingness to work in remote or high-altitude sites.
Interview Scheduling: Organize interviews, trade tests, or physical assessments if
needed, and manage all logistical coordination.
Documentation & Compliance: Ensure proper documentation, background checks, and
compliance with labor laws and client policies during onboarding.
Database Management: Maintain and update candidate records, track recruitment
progress, and share timely reports with internal and client stakeholders.
Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with local training centers,
ITIs, field agents, and other sourcing partners.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in bulk or field recruitment, preferably in telecom, construction,
or infrastructure sectors.
Strong knowledge of junior-level technical roles such as field technicians, riggers, and
tower climbers.
Familiarity with remote and regional hiring challenges.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English and local languages (as
applicable).
Ability to work under pressure and meet hiring targets in tight timelines.
Willingness to travel locally for hiring drives or field visits when required.
