Key Responsibilities
Counsel students and parents regarding overseas education opportunities.
Understand students’ academic profiles, career goals, financial background and destination preferences.
Recommend suitable countries, universities, courses and intakes.
Handle and convert qualified student leads through calls, meetings and WhatsApp.
Guide students through the complete admission/application process.
Explain university requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, intakes and application timelines.
Follow up consistently with prospective students to maximise conversions.
Coordinate with universities, admission teams and internal processing teams.
Maintain detailed records of leads, counselling sessions, follow-ups and applications.
Achieve monthly application, admission and revenue targets.
Build strong relationships with students and parents.
Stay updated on university policies, admission requirements and international education trends.
Support junior counsellors and contribute to improving counselling and conversion processes when required.
Requirements
5–6+ years of relevant experience in study-abroad counselling, overseas education, student recruitment or international admissions.
Strong knowledge of major study destinations such as Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand and Europe.
Excellent English communication and presentation skills.
Strong counselling, negotiation and sales-conversion abilities.
Proven track record of achieving admission/enrolment targets.
Comfortable handling high volumes of student leads and follow-ups.
Strong knowledge of CRM/Excel/Google Sheets.
Professional, confident and target-oriented personality.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of student conversions.
Salary & Incentives
₹20,000–₹65,000/month, depending on experience, expertise, performance and proven admission-conversion record.
Additional performance-based incentives will be offered for successful applications and admissions.

Someone who can independently handle student leads from the first counselling call through application and admission, consistently achieve targets and contribute to the growth of the study-abroad business.
