Job Purpose:
To ensure compliance with national and international standards, legal regulations, and buyer requirements by conducting audits, maintaining certifications, and implementing corrective actions. The officer will be responsible for upholding ethical, environmental, quality, safety, and labor standards across the organization and its supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct internal audits and coordinate external audits for the following standards:
ISO 9001 (Quality Management)
ISO 14001 (Environmental Management)
ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety)
SA 8000 (Social Accountability)
amfori BSCI, GRS, GOTS, Oeko-Tex, CTPAT, and various buyer Codes of Conduct (COC)
Ensure adherence to applicable legal and statutory requirements, including Factory Act compliance, with respect to working conditions, welfare, safety, and employee rights.
Monitor compliance with national labor laws and EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) guidelines.
Identify gaps and non-conformities during audits; prepare and track CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) plans.
Liaise with external certifying bodies, buyers, auditors, and government authorities.
Conduct training sessions for factory teams and vendors on compliance requirements.
Maintain documentation and audit records in line with standard and regulatory expectations.
Assist in sustainability and ESG initiatives including legal disclosures and impact monitoring.
Candidates should have required knowledge of ISO 9001 (Quality Management), ISO 14001 (Environmental Management), ISO (Occupational Health & Safety), BSCI, GRS, Oeko-Tex, CTPAT, SA 8000 (Social Responsibility)
