Role Summary
The HR Executive will be responsible for payroll processing, statutory compliance, training coordination, employee records management, and HR MIS reporting. The role also involves supporting employee engagement activities, manpower planning, and compliance documentation required for automotive industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll & Salary Administration
Preparation and processing of monthly payroll.
Verification of attendance, overtime, leave records, and deductions.
Ensuring accurate calculation of statutory deductions and salary components.
Preparing salary sheets and payroll reports.
2. Statutory Compliance & Documentation
Responsible for maintaining and coordinating statutory compliance related to:
Employees' Provident Fund Organisation (PF)
Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESI)
Labour Welfare Fund Act (LWF)
Key activities include:
Maintaining PF/ESI employee records
Coordinating monthly statutory filings
Maintaining labour compliance registers
Supporting labour law audits and inspections
3. Training & Development Coordination
Implement training programs as per the Annual Training Calendar.
Coordinate technical, quality, safety, and behavioural training sessions.
Maintain training attendance records and training effectiveness reports.
Support training documentation required under automotive quality systems.
4. Employee Records & HR Documentation
Maintain complete employee personal files.
Update and maintain HR documentation and records.
Manage documentation related to joining, confirmation, and employee records.
Ensure proper document control for HR records.
5. Employee Engagement & Events
Organize company events and awareness programs such as:
Quality Month
Safety Month
Environment Day
Employee Engagement Activities
Coordinate communication and participation across departments.
6. Manpower Planning & Availability
Monitor daily manpower availability.
Coordinate with production departments to ensure required manpower deployment.
Support recruitment and onboarding activities when required.
7. HR MIS & Reporting
Prepare and maintain daily and monthly HR reports, including:
Daily MIS
Manpower attendance
Absenteeism data
Overtime reports
Monthly Reports
HR dashboard
Training reports
Employee headcount reports
Compliance reports
Support preparation of data for Monthly Management Review Meetings (MRM).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in:
Human Resources
Business Administration
Commerce
Preferred: MBA / PG Diploma in HR
Experience
2–5 years experience in HR within manufacturing or automotive industry.
Required Skills
Knowledge of payroll processing
Understanding of labour laws and statutory compliance
Strong Excel and MIS reporting skills
Good documentation and record management
Communication and coordination skills
Preferred Experience
Experience in companies certified under:
IATF 16949
ISO 9001
Experience handling OEM supplier compliance systems such as MSIL VSA will be an added advantage.
