Assistant HR Manager

Recruitment & Onboarding:

• Assist in recruiting field staff (e.g., waste collectors, drivers, operators) and technical/administrative personnel.

• Coordinate onboarding, including policy orientation, safety briefings, and documentation for new hires.

• Maintain strong pipeline for skilled and unskilled labor.

Employee Relations & Welfare:

• Address employee concerns in the field and at the plant/facility level.

• Promote employee engagement and retention programs tailored to a multi-site workforce.

• Manage disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with labor laws and company policy.

Compliance & Documentation:

• Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health & safety regulations, and industry-specific environmental norms.

• Maintain accurate records including attendance, leave, performance reviews, and training logs.

• Support audits and government inspections (labor, safety, environment).

Training & Development:

• Identify training needs for safety, operations, and supervisory skills.

• Assist in developing and implementing training programs focused on compliance, technical upskilling, and soft skills.

• Track training effectiveness and documentation.

Performance Management:

• Assist in implementing performance appraisal systems for field and office employees.

• Track KPIs and recommend improvement plans in coordination with department heads.

HR Operations:

• Maintain HRMS records and reports (attendance, payroll support, shift scheduling).

• Coordinate HR activities across various waste management sites.

• Support implementation of HR policies, HR communication, and health initiatives.
