About the Role
The Salon Manager is responsible for the overall performance, operations, and growth of the salon. This role ensures exceptional customer service, efficient team management, achievement of business targets, adherence to company standards, and smooth day-to-day salon operations. The Salon Manager acts as a leader, mentor, and brand ambassador while driving revenue growth and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Salon Operations Management
Ensure timely opening and smooth functioning of the salon.
Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and grooming standards across the salon.
Conduct weekly deep-cleaning audits and ensure compliance with SOPs.
Monitor employee attendance, punctuality, and discipline.
Ensure all services are delivered as per company quality standards.
Resolve operational challenges and ensure seamless customer experiences.
2. Team Leadership & People Management
Prepare and manage staff rosters, shifts, weekly offs, and leave schedules.
Conduct regular team meetings and communicate business updates, targets, and promotions.
Coach, mentor, and support team members to improve performance.
Facilitate onboarding, training, and integration of new employees.
Identify skill gaps and coordinate training requirements.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work culture.
Address employee concerns and resolve workplace conflicts professionally.
3. Customer Experience & Relationship Management
Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure high client satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints effectively and ensure timely resolution.
Encourage repeat business through relationship building and personalized service.
Collect client feedback and ensure action is taken on improvement opportunities.
Ensure every customer receives a bill and has a positive checkout experience.
Drive collection of customer reviews and improve online reputation management.
4. Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly revenue, retail, package, and membership targets.
Drive upselling and cross-selling of services and retail products.
Promote ongoing offers, memberships, and campaigns to customers.
Follow up with leads and inactive clients to increase salon footfall.
Track salon performance and implement strategies for business growth.
Monitor appointment schedules and optimize revenue opportunities.
5. Inventory & Financial Management
Monitor stock levels and raise replenishment requests proactively.
Conduct regular audits of retail products and consumables.
Ensure accurate inventory records and consumption tracking.
Manage petty cash and maintain proper documentation.
Verify daily cash, card, UPI, and billing reconciliations.
Ensure all financial transactions comply with company procedures.
6. Administration & Reporting
Submit daily operational reports and closing updates.
Maintain accurate records in Zenoti and other business systems.
Ensure customer information and lead sources are correctly updated.
Coordinate with Head Office regarding operational requirements.
Prepare and share weekly and monthly performance reports.
Escalate unresolved issues to management in a timely manner.
7. Brand Standards & Marketing Support
Ensure salon branding and service standards are consistently maintained.
Coordinate salon photoshoots, videography activities, and promotional events.
Ensure before-and-after service photographs are captured as per company guidelines.
Support local marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility.

Achievement of revenue and profitability targets.
Customer satisfaction and retention rates.
Package and membership sales performance.
Retail product sales.
Team productivity and employee retention.
Google review ratings and customer feedback scores.
Inventory accuracy and stock management.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Certification or training in Salon Management, Hospitality, Retail, or related fields is an advantage.
Experience Required
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in salon, retail, hospitality, or service industry management.
Proven experience in team handling, customer service, and sales management.
