Job Description

Job Summary:

The Hotel Receptionist will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and excellent customer service. The role involves handling front desk operations, managing reservations, and assisting guests with inquiries to ensure a pleasant stay.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Manage check-in and check-out processes smoothly.

  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently.

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and provide accurate information about hotel services.

  • Maintain guest records and update reservation system.

  • Process payments and manage billing/invoices.

  • Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments for guest needs.

  • Ensure front desk area is clean, organized, and presentable.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or related field (preferred).

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is an advantage.

  • Good communication skills (verbal & written).

  • Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software.

  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

  • Pleasant personality with customer-first attitude.
