Job Description

Job Summary:

The Receptionist is the first point of contact for customers visiting the showroom. This role focuses on delivering a warm welcome, managing customer flow, supporting the sales team, and ensuring a premium customer experience aligned with the brand image.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Customer Handling

  • Greet and welcome customers professionally

  • Understand customer purpose and guide them to the right sales executive

  • Offer water/refreshments as per showroom standards

  • Maintain a polite, friendly, and presentable demeanor at all times

2. Front Desk Management

  • Manage reception desk and showroom entry flow

  • Handle walk-in customer entries and maintain visitor records

  • Answer phone calls, WhatsApp inquiries, and basic queries

3. Appointment & Coordination

  • Schedule appointments for premium/HNI customers

  • Coordinate with sales team for customer handling

  • Inform concerned staff about VIP customer arrivals

4. CRM & Data Entry

  • Capture customer details (name, contact number, occasion, etc.)

  • Maintain daily footfall data

  • Update customer database in CRM system

5. Showroom Support

  • Assist in managing waiting customers

  • Ensure reception area cleanliness and display readiness

  • Support marketing activities like coupon distribution, invitation handling


Skills Required:

  • Good communication skills (Gujarati, Hindi, basic English)

  • Presentable personality with a positive attitude

  • Customer service orientation

  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, CRM entry)

  • Ability to handle multiple customers calmly
