Receptionist

The Clinic Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors. This role is responsible for managing front-desk operations, scheduling appointments, handling patient inquiries, and ensuring smooth daily clinic operations with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors warmly and assist them with inquiries

• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments

• Register patients and update personal, medical, and insurance information

• Answer phone calls, emails, and messages in a polite and professional manner

• Handle billing support tasks such as collecting payments, issuing receipts, and coordinating with billing staff

• Maintain patient records while ensuring confidentiality and data privacy

• Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other clinic staff

• Manage front-desk supplies and keep the reception area clean and organized

• Handle basic administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry

Required Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (additional certification is a plus)

• Previous experience as a receptionist or in a healthcare setting preferred

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic computer skills (MS Office, appointment systems, or clinic software)

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Professional appearance and positive attitude

• Understanding of patient confidentiality and clinic protocols

Working Conditions
