The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, clients, and patients at the Animal Pathology Lab. The role involves managing front desk operations, handling calls, scheduling appointments, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the laboratory.
Greet and assist visitors, clients, and patients in a professional and courteous manner.
Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, emails, and correspondence.
Schedule and confirm appointments for diagnostic tests and consultations.
Maintain visitor logs, appointment records, and front-desk registers.
Coordinate with doctors, lab technicians, and other staff to ensure timely service.
Handle queries related to reports, billing, and lab services.
Assist in basic administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and record keeping.
Manage courier/postal services for sample collection and report dispatch.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the reception and waiting area.
Ensure strict confidentiality of client and patient records.
Graduate in any discipline (preferred in Administration/Management).
Prior experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Executive, or Customer Service role (preferably in healthcare/diagnostic centers).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with laboratory/healthcare management software will be an advantage.
