Job Description

Position Overview

We are looking for a polite and professional Receptionist who can manage the front desk and be the first point of contact for patients and visitors. The candidate should have good communication skills, a friendly nature, and the ability to handle basic administrative tasks smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a polite and professional manner

  • Manage front desk operations, including handling walk-ins and appointments

  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming calls appropriately

  • Maintain patient records and update necessary information accurately

  • Schedule and coordinate appointments for doctors and therapists

  • Handle billing, basic cash transactions, and issue receipts when required

  • Respond to inquiries via phone, email, or in person

  • Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times

  • Coordinate with internal teams for smooth clinic operations

  • Maintain confidentiality of patient and organizational information

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline (preferred)

  • Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel) and email handling

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Professional attitude and appearance

  • Ability to handle pressure and manage time effectively

Additional Requirements

  • Prior experience in a healthcare or clinic setting will be an advantage

  • Good knowledge of patient handling and customer service
