The Resort Receptionist is the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a warm, smooth, and welcoming stay experience. This role involves handling check-ins and check-outs, guest coordination, basic reservations, and daily front desk operations for a 12-room resort.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests and manage check-in and check-out procedures
Handle room allocations, guest records, and basic billing
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance for room readiness
Answer guest queries and assist with local information and requests
Manage phone calls, messages, and basic email/OTA communication
Ensure front desk area is clean, calm, and well-organised
Handle payments (cash, UPI, cards if applicable) and issue receipts
Report any guest issues or property concerns to management
Maintain guest privacy and follow resort policies
Requirements
Prior experience in hospitality or front desk roles preferred
Good communication skills in English and Hindi (local language a plus)
Basic computer skills (billing software / OTA dashboards an advantage)
Pleasant personality with a service-oriented mindset
Ability to multitask and stay composed during busy hours
Working Hours
Shift-based (including weekends and holidays as per occupancy)
