A. Guest Greeting & First Impression
· Welcome guests with a warm and professional attitude.
· Provide menu information or waiting time details politely.
· Ensure guests feel comfortable and acknowledged immediately.
B. Table Allocation & Reservation Handling
· Manage seating according to reservation priority and table availability.
· Maintain guest flow to avoid crowding or service delays.
· Update reservation logs and waiting lists accurately.
C. Coordination with FOH Team
· Inform captains and stewards when guests are seated.
· Communicate special requests such as birthdays, dietary needs, or seating preferences.
· Coordinate table turnover with stewards to prepare tables for the next guest.
D. Guest Communication & Service Support
· Answer guest queries related to waiting time, menu, or restaurant facilities.
· Assist with takeaway guest coordination when required.
· Support service team during peak hours with water service or basic tasks.
E. Hygiene & Ambience Monitoring
· Ensure entrance area, waiting space, and podium are clean and presentable.
· Check lighting, music volume, and ambience elements and report issues to Floor Manager.
F. Reporting & Shift Support
· Participate in pre-shift briefings for daily specials, promotions, or seat planning.
· Share relevant guest feedback or complaints with management.
· Support receptionist or billing counter in emergencies when directed.
E. Required Skills & Competencies
