Key Responsibilities
Greet visitors warmly and direct them to the appropriate persons.
Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic info.
Log student inquiries into the database accurately.
Sort and distribute daily mail, deliveries, and courier packages.
Ensure reception area is organized and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g. pens, forms and brochures)
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges)
Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock
Update calendars and schedule meetings
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, transcribing and faxing.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in any stream or equivalent qualification.
1–2 years of experience in front desk, customer service, or hospitality roles.
Fluent verbal and written communication skills, pleasing personality.
Knowledge in MS Office (Word, Excel) and basic internet tools.
Multitasking abilities, strong organizational skills, and a student-friendly attitude.
