Job Description

Job Title: Guest Relation Executive (GRE)

Location: QSR Outlet

Department: Operations

Reports to: Restaurant Manager

Job Summary:

The Guest Relation Executive (GRE) is responsible for providing a warm, friendly, and

welcoming experience to every guest entering the restaurant. As a host, the GRE will greet,

seat, and ensure that each guest feels valued and attended to throughout their visit. This role

is essential in creating a memorable guest experience that aligns with our brand’s service

standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greeting Guests:

o Warmly greet guests as they enter the restaurant, making them feel welcomed

and valued.

o Maintain a friendly, approachable demeanour while making eye contact and

using a cheerful tone.

2. Seating Guests:

o Efficiently manage the seating area by directing guests to their tables promptly

and ensuring they are comfortably seated.

o Monitor table availability and maintain a waiting list during peak hours to

manage guest flow.

3. Assisting with Guest Needs:

o Be attentive to guests’ needs, including providing menu assistance and

answering any queries regarding the food and services offered.

o Assist in providing high chairs, wheelchair access, and other specific needs to

accommodate all guests.

4. Ensuring Guest Delight:

o Engage with guests during their visit, ensuring that they have a delightful

experience. Gather feedback and handle minor complaints politely and

promptly, escalating issues to the Shift Manager if needed.

o Offer friendly farewells and invite guests to return as they leave the restaurant.

5. Maintaining Cleanliness and Organization:

o Ensure the dining and waiting areas are clean and organized at all times.

o Regularly check and maintain the hygiene of high-contact areas, such as the

entrance, waiting area, and menus.

6. Coordinating with the Team:

o Work closely with the service and kitchen teams to ensure a seamless flow of

orders and table turnovers.

o Update the team on any special guest requirements or reservations.

7. Promotional Activities:

o Actively inform guests about any ongoing promotions or offers and encourage

them to try new items or upgrade their orders.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Education: Graduate in any field, hospitality courses or certifications are a plus.

• Experience: Previous experience in customer service or hospitality, preferably in a

QSR or fast-paced environment – minimum 1 year.

• Skills:

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

o Strong customer focus with the ability to create a positive guest experience.

o Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently.

o Good organizational and problem-solving skills.

• Attributes:

o Friendly, approachable, and well-groomed appearance.

o Punctual and reliable with a positive attitude.

o Able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Standing for long periods and interacting with guests consistently throughout the shift.

• Adhering to the grooming guidelines.
