Job Title: Plumber – Construction

Location: NITW Warangal

Department: Construction / Site Operations

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Plumber to join our construction team. The Plumber will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related fixtures and appliances at residential, commercial, and industrial construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine plumbing layouts.

Install and repair piping systems for water, drainage, and sewage.

Fit and install sanitary fixtures such as wash basins, toilets, bathtubs, water tanks, and geysers.

Test plumbing systems for leaks and other problems using pressure gauges or other tools.

Cut, assemble, and install pipes using hand and power tools.

Ensure all plumbing work complies with relevant building codes and safety standards.

Coordinate with electricians and other construction workers at the site.

Repair and replace worn parts, fixtures, or piping as required.

Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Requirements:

Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a plumber in the construction industry.

Ability to read and understand construction drawings.

Knowledge of materials, tools, and procedures used in plumbing work.

Physically fit to handle site conditions.

ITI certification in Plumbing or a similar trade preferred.

Basic understanding of safety procedures and building codes.

Skills Required:

Technical plumbing knowledge

Pipefitting and fixture installation

Problem-solving and attention to detail

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Teamwork and communication skills

Education Qualification:

ITI / Diploma in Plumbing or equivalent vocational training.
