Job Summary:

A Multi-Skilled Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of technical, maintenance, and repair tasks across mechanical, electrical. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment, machinery, and systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery, electrical panels, HVAC systems, plumbing, and other building services.

• Diagnose and repair faults in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.

• Conduct inspections and maintain detailed maintenance logs and reports.

• Support production and operations teams by ensuring minimal equipment downtime.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.

• Install, modify, or upgrade machinery, tools, and fixtures as needed.

• Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company policies.

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other technical staff for major repairs or installations.

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reliability.

• Maintain proper inventory of tools, spares, and consumables.
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma or ITI certification in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.

• Proven experience as a maintenance or multi-skilled technician in a manufacturing or facility environment.

• Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and basic automation systems.

• Ability to use diagnostic tools, meters, and hand/power tools safely.

• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

• Understanding of safety, quality, and compliance standards.

• Basic computer literacy (for maintenance reporting and record keeping).

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team, including in shifts if required.
