Roles and responsibilities for Pantry Boy -
Supervise and manage the housekeeping and pantry staff on a daily basis — ensuring tasks are completed on time with quality, standards are maintained, and the team is accountable without needing constant follow-up from the POC.
Be hands-on when needed — this is not a purely supervisory role. The building manager is expected to step in and should know and perform tasks like cleaning, dishwashing themselves when a staff member is absent or the situation demands it.
Be the first point of contact for client issues — handle complaints, requests, and day-to-day interactions with clients in the building, resolving issues on the ground without escalating every matter to the POC.
Monitor the building's overall upkeep — proactively identify issues like cleanliness gaps, maintenance needs, or supply shortages and address them before they become client-facing problems.
