A Pantry Boy's job involves maintaining pantry cleanliness, stocking supplies (snacks, beverages), preparing and serving drinks (tea, coffee) and simple food items, washing utensils, and assisting kitchen staff with basic food prep (chopping, plating) to ensure smooth kitchen operations and a well-organized pantry area for employees or guests.
Key Responsibilities:
Pantry & Kitchen Maintenance: Keeping the pantry, kitchen, and dining areas clean, sanitized, and organized.
Stock Management: Monitoring inventory, ordering supplies, and restocking snacks, beverages, and kitchen essentials.
Food & Beverage Service: Preparing and serving tea, coffee, and other refreshments to staff and visitors; plating and garnishing simple dishes.
Food Preparation: Washing, chopping, grating, and portioning ingredients as needed.
Equipment Care: Cleaning and maintaining utensils, dishes, and pantry equipment.
Support Duties: Assisting chefs and kitchen staff with general tasks, distributing food, and ensuring presentation is neat.
