Job Summary
The Senior Pantry Boy is responsible for managing pantry operations, ensuring cleanliness, hygiene, and timely service of refreshments to staff and visitors. The role also includes supervising junior pantry staff and maintaining pantry supplies.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve tea, coffee, water, and refreshments to employees, management, and guests.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pantry, utensils, and equipment at all times.
Ensure proper arrangement and storage of pantry items.
Monitor stock levels of pantry supplies and inform management for timely replenishment.
Supervise and guide junior pantry boys in daily tasks and hygiene standards.
Ensure timely service during meetings, conferences, and official events.
Dispose of waste properly and follow hygiene and safety standards.
Report any maintenance issues related to pantry equipment.
Follow company rules, safety guidelines, and work schedules.
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of pantry operations and hygiene standards
Ability to supervise and manage junior staff
Good communication and polite behavior
Time management and multitasking skills
Physically fit to handle routine pantry duties
Qualifications
Minimum: 10th / 12th pass
Experience: 3–5 years of experience in pantry or hospitality services (preferably in corporate or industrial setup)
