Key Responsibilities
Office Maintenance & Cleanliness:
Dusting and cleaning furniture, light fixtures, and common areas.
Ensuring the cleanliness of the office kitchen and washrooms.
Disposing of trash and waste.
Replenishing supplies in washrooms.
Hospitality & Refreshments:
Serving tea, coffee, and other refreshments to staff and visitors.
Maintaining the pantry and keeping it stocked.
Administrative Support:
Managing and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and parcels.
Photocopying, filing, and other minor clerical tasks.
Assisting with setting up and preparing meeting rooms.
Errands & Logistics:
Running errands both inside and outside the office, such as purchasing supplies or delivering documents.
Collecting items like cheques and other important documents.
Supply Management:
Monitoring and replenishing office supplies, such as stationery, water, and pantry items.
Managing the inventory of office and pantry supplies.
Skills & Qualifications
Skills: Meticulous attention to detail, flexibility, time management, ability to follow instructions, proactiveness, and a friendly, neat personality.
Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is often preferred.
Reporting Structure
The office boy typically reports to the Office Manager or another administrative supervisor.
