We are seeking a physically fit, reliable, and customer-friendly Furniture Showroom Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist with the daily operations of the showroom, including moving and arranging furniture displays, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting customers or sales staff with loading and unloading items.
Key Responsibilities
Showroom Arrangement: Assist in moving, assembling, and arranging heavy furniture displays (sofas, beds, dining tables) according to visual merchandising layouts.
Loading & Unloading: Safely unload incoming stock from delivery trucks and load purchased items into customers' vehicles or delivery vans.
Maintenance & Cleanliness: Dust, polish, and clean furniture pieces on display regularly to ensure they look presentable; keep the showroom floor clear of clutter.
Customer Assistance: Help customers carry items to their cars and provide basic, polite assistance on the showroom floor.
Inventory Support: Assist the store manager with unpacking new stock, organizing the back storeroom, and checking for any damaged items.
Requirements & Skills
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy furniture items repeatedly throughout the day.
Teamwork: Excellent cooperation skills to work smoothly with sales executives, delivery drivers, and managers.
Basic Communication: Polite and helpful attitude when interacting with customers and staff.
Reliability: Punctual, responsible, and careful when handling expensive showroom inventory to avoid damage.
Experience: Prior experience in a retail showroom, warehouse, or moving company is a plus, but not mandatory.
