Helper

Assistance in Repairs: Support fitters and electricians during preventive and breakdown maintenance

of Gangsaws, Cutters, Polishing Lines, Cranes, Compressors, and other equipment.

- Tools & Material Handling: Transport tools, spares, and materials to work sites. Ensure tools are

cleaned and returned to the tool room after use.

- Basic Maintenance Tasks: Perform cleaning, lubrication, tightening of nuts/bolts, and removal of

scrap/waste under supervision.

- Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness in maintenance areas, machine surroundings, and workshops.

Dispose of waste, oil, and used spares properly.

- Loading/Unloading: Assist in the movement of motors, gearboxes, and other heavy parts during repair

work.

- Safety Support: Help maintain safe working conditions during maintenance activities.

- Departmental Coordination: Coordinate with stores for issuing spares and deliver messages or

documents between departments.

- Support During Shutdowns: Assist the team during planned shutdowns, overhauls, and the installation

of new machinery.. The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹18,000 - ₹20,000.

Key Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

The minimum qualification for this role is below 10th and 0- 2 years of experience. The position requires strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team.
