Painter

Job Description

We are hiring experienced Painters for a prestigious client in Bahrain. Candidates should have hands-on experience in surface preparation, painting, decorative finishes, polishing and maintenance work, preferably in hotels, commercial properties or premium residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces through sanding, filling, priming and removal of old finishes.

• Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel and decorative finishes using brushes, rollers or spray guns.

• Match paint shades and maintain established property colour schemes.

• Estimate material requirements and the time needed to complete work.

• Protect surrounding surfaces and maintain cleanliness during painting activities.

• Perform polishing of wood, metal and stone surfaces to achieve the required finish.

• Identify defects, deburr, trim and maintain specified finishing standards.

• Use appropriate tools, machinery and personal protective equipment.

• Follow safety procedures, display warning signs and keep work areas secure.

• Clean the work area and store tools properly after completing each job.

• Report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions promptly.

• Carry out additional maintenance and urgent rectification work when required.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painter, Finishing Technician or similar professional.

• Practical knowledge of surface preparation, painting techniques and finishing materials.

• Experience in decorative painting, spray painting and polishing will be an advantage.

• Ability to match shades and deliver high-quality finishes.

• Experience in hotels, commercial properties, luxury residential projects or property maintenance is preferred.

• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and correct use of tools and equipment.

• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
