Job Purpose

To carry out painting and surface finishing work on structures, equipment, or products to ensure quality appearance, protection, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling cracks or holes.

• Apply primer, paint, varnish, enamel, epoxy, or other coatings as per requirement.

• Carry out painting work using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.

• Mix paints and materials to achieve the desired color and texture.

• Ensure uniform finish and quality as per specifications.

• Protect surrounding areas from paint spills and damage.

• Perform touch-up work and repainting as required.

• Follow work instructions, drawings, and supervisor guidelines.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and painting materials properly.

• Complete work within given timelines.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all safety rules and site SOPs.

• Use PPE such as masks, gloves, helmets, and safety shoes.

• Handle paints, thinners, and chemicals safely.

• Maintain cleanliness at the work area.

Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques.

• Ability to use hand tools, rollers, and spray painting equipment.

• Understanding of different paint types (enamel, epoxy, PU, etc.).

• Attention to detail and quality finish.

• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights (if required).

• Ability to work independently or in a team.

Educational Qualification

• Minimum: 10th Pass / ITI Painter / Relevant Trade Certificate (preferred).

• It is a Full Time Painter job for candidates with 1 - 2 years of experience.
