Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Blaster and Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for surface preparation and applying protective coatings to a variety of industrial structures and equipment, ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with industry specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform abrasive blasting (sandblasting, grit blasting, etc.) to clean and prepare metal surfaces.
Apply industrial coatings (e.g., epoxy, polyurethane, zinc-rich primers) using various techniques including spray, brush, or roller.
Interpret and follow work instructions, specifications, drawings, and safety guidelines.
Set up and maintain blasting and painting equipment, including air compressors, spray guns, and safety gear.
Inspect surfaces before and after blasting/painting to ensure quality and coverage.
Conduct touch-ups, surface repairs, and finishing work as needed.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly and participate in safety training programs.
Record work completed and report progress or issues to supervisors.
