Industrial Painter

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team, specializing in painting gearboxes and related mechanical components. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial painting, surface preparation, and working with various coatings and finishes suited for heavy-duty mechanical parts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare gearboxes and components for painting, including cleaning, degreasing, masking, and sanding surfaces.

• Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray guns, brushes, or rollers according to technical specifications.

• Operate and maintain painting equipment and ensure cleanliness of painting booth and tools.

• Mix and match paints to required specifications, ensuring correct viscosity and drying time.

• Inspect painted parts for coverage, smoothness, color match, and defects; perform touch-ups as needed.

• Follow safety protocols and use proper PPE to handle hazardous materials and operate equipment.

• Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure all painted gearboxes meet industry and company standards.

• Record paint usage, job completion details, and maintenance logs.

• Comply with environmental regulations for waste disposal and emissions control.

• Assist with loading/unloading painted components and ensuring safe handling of finished goods.
