Job Description

Surface Preparation: Clean, sand, and mask parts (valves, fittings) to prepare them for coating. Ensure surfaces are free of oil, rust, or debris.
Coating Application: Apply primers and finish coats using Spray Guns (Airless or Conventional) or powder coating equipment.
Technical Precision: Maintain uniform thickness (DFT - Dry Film Thickness) as per engineering specifications to ensure corrosion resistance.
Quality Control: Inspect finished components for runs, sags, or "orange peel" defects. Use coating thickness gauges for verification.
Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain spray guns, booths, and ventilation systems daily to prevent clogs and safety hazards.

Requirements & Skills

Education: ITI (Painter Trade) preferred or equivalent vocational training.
Techniques: Knowledge of epoxy, polyurethane (PU), or anti-corrosive coatings.
Safety: Strict adherence to PPE (respirators, coveralls) and chemical handling protocols.
Attention to Detail: Ability to distinguish color shades and identify minor surface imperfections.
