Job Summary

The Painter Helper will assist painters and site supervisors in preparing surfaces, handling materials, maintaining tools, and ensuring smooth daily operations at project sites. This role is ideal for individuals who are hardworking, reliable, and willing to learn professional painting techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist painters with daily site activities such as preparing walls, cleaning surfaces, and moving materials.

• Mix paints, primers, and other materials as directed by the painter or site supervisor.

• Set up and dismantle ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the worksite.

• Handle and transport painting tools, rollers, brushes, and materials.

• Protect surfaces with masking tape, drop cloths, and coverings.

• Follow safety instructions and wear proper PPE at all times.

• Support in touch-ups, sanding, and minor repair work under supervision.

• Report any equipment damage or safety concerns immediately.

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum 0 months to 6 months of experience as a helper or laborer in painting or construction work.

• Basic understanding of painting materials and tools (preferred but not mandatory).

• Physically fit and capable of working at heights or outdoors.

• Eager to learn and grow in the painting trade.

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

• Punctual, responsible, and safety-conscious.

Working Conditions

• Full-time, site-based role (may involve multiple project locations).
