Staff Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Staff Nurse for the Gynaecology & Labour Room department. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality maternal and neonatal care, assisting in labour and delivery, supporting gynecological procedures, and ensuring patient safety and comfort as per hospital protocols and NABH standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the gynaecology and labour room units.

• Assist doctors during normal deliveries, caesarean sections, and gynecological surgeries.

• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being during labour and report any abnormalities promptly.

• Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate patient records.

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to obstetrics and gynecology patients.

• Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and maintenance of aseptic techniques.

• Educate patients and families regarding maternal health, newborn care, breastfeeding, and postnatal care.

• Handle emergencies such as postpartum hemorrhage, eclampsia, or neonatal resuscitation effectively.

• Support smooth patient flow and coordinate with doctors, anesthetists, and other staff.

• Comply with hospital infection control and NABH quality protocols.

• It is a Full Time Nurse / Compounder job for candidates with 1 - 5 years of experience.
