Staff Nurse

Job Summary:

The nursing staff is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with established medical practices and facility policies. This role involves monitoring patient health, administering medications and treatments, coordinating with healthcare teams, and educating patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.

• Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and report any changes to the appropriate medical staff.

• Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed.

• Assist with diagnostic tests and analyze results under supervision.

• Provide wound care and other necessary nursing procedures.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, care plans, and medication use.

• Ensure patient safety and infection control practices are followed.

• Respond to emergencies and provide basic life support when necessary.

• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Education: Diploma or degree in Nursing (BSc Nursing, GNM, or equivalent).

• License/Certification: Valid nursing license/registration (as per local/state requirements).

• Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
