Job Description

  • Direct Patient Care: Administering meds/injections, wound care, catheterization, assisting with personal hygiene, feeding, and monitoring vitals (temp, pulse, BP). 

  • Patient & Family Education: Explaining conditions, treatments, and care plans to patients and their relatives. 

  • Documentation: Maintaining accurate, detailed, and confidential patient records and charting care provided. 

  • Collaboration: Working with doctors, other nurses, and support staff to coordinate holistic care. 

  • Ward Management: Ensuring a clean, safe environment, managing supplies (drugs, linen), and overseeing ward routines. 

  • Emergency Response: Providing urgent care and life-saving assistance in critical situations. 

  • Leadership/Mentorship: Guiding junior staff, students, and nursing assistants.
