Job Description
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, ventilator settings, and critical parameters
- Administer medications, IV infusions, blood products, and emergency drugs as prescribed
- Assist doctors during procedures like intubation, central line insertion, and code blue situations
- Operate and maintain ICU equipment (ventilators, monitors, infusion pumps, defibrillators)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment provided
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols
- Provide psychological support to patients and communicate effectively with families
